Are games art is a topic of constant controversy. When Roger Ebert posted on his blog that he didn’t belive games were art which sparked an internet wide retaliation. Then a few months later he conceded that may be one day games could art.

In this months podcast we try to figure out for ourselves where we stand on the topic. Game creation is an artistic process but does the end product really count as art? Sure they look and sound beautiful. Some video game stories even beat the socks off most of Hollywood movies today. Writing and music are examples art on their own. So does wrapping them up in a new product make that product art in their own right?
